Last year at the Farmers Market we often attend, they had a bee keeper. He brought in some displays and his bees, so the kids could see just how they move around the hive and make the honey. It was so fascinating, Mister Bull stood there watching and listened for hours to him talk. It was such a great learning experience.
With Spring on the way, I thought now would be a great time for some Honey Bee printables. Today you can grab these Honey Bee Coloring Pages. These are a great addition to any spring unit or just for some fun coloring pages to pass the day away.
4 Sets of Coloring Pages Include:
- Printed words for Toddlers to just color the pages
- Traceable letters for early writers to practice and color
- Manuscript names to trace
- Cursive names to trace
If you’re looking for some great readers to use while learning about honey bees, check out these great titles. Many are probably available at your local library, or you could get a Kindle version for most of them on Amazon. I love using my Kindle Reader app to read with my kids. I have so many titles at the tip of my fingers in just minutes!
